AZTEC Employment Services
|
| |
The
Employment Services Program provides varying levels of training and work
in sheltered and community work sites, and includes job placement and competitive
employment opportunities as needed. AZTEC works closely with local businesses
to provide individual and group work site opportunities for individuals.
Subcontract work, provided by local industries and businesses, assists in
the development of appropriate work habits, thereby increasing employment
potential and providing wages to individuals.

Transitional
and educational services and supports are also provided to local high school
students who have learning and emotional disabilities. The primary focus
of these services is to assist students to obtain and retain part-time or
full-time employment in the community. Referrals for these services are
made through DES-RSA and DED-DDD.
