AZTEC residential work locations are primarily in West Phoenix, Peoria and Glendale. We offer services in a variety of capacities including community-based residential settings as well as in-home day programs and community-based employment settings.
DSP's assist adults to increase their independence in daily living skills development, behavior management, personal care, medication administration and accompanying members on community outings and activities. Instructors also attend medical appointments. Jobs are currently available in residential environments for up to five adults.
Pay: $13/hr. - $17.00/hr.
FT/PT/On-Call Positions (Driving/Non-Driving)
Hours: Vary by position - Weekday, Weekend and Wakeover Shifts
MA's are responsible for assisting in the scheduling and accompanying of members to doctor's appointments/procedures. Must have the ability to multi-task, be detail oriented, establish and maintain effective working relationships with members, families, employees and the public, and possess adequate knowledge of medical terminology.
FT Position (Driving)
Hours: Monday - Friday (Day hours - 37.5 hours/week)
Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) allow the person with developmental disabilities to remain at home with their family as a primary support, and participate in activities within their own community. Services available are:
Attendant Care - Assistance in personal hygiene and daily living activities as well as maintenance of safe and sanitary conditions.
Habilitation - Designed to maximize the functioning and development in essential activities to meet personal and social needs, self-help, physical mobility, and adaptive living skills.
Housekeeping - Routine household maintenance.
Respite - Provides relief for family caregivers via short-term care and supervision in or outside of the home.
